Used 2020 Porsche 911 for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2020 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have softened 1.37% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 685 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Porsche 911 earns a 4.8/5 user rating and an 8.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its stunning design, exceptional performance, and thrilling drive. They also appreciate the comfort and build quality, which reinforces its appeal as a serious sports car that still works for everyday use. The overview frames it as a driver-focused car with iconic styling, and the manual transmission adds to that enthusiast appeal.

The main trade-offs are that it is pricey and some owners mention road noise and the Bose sound system. Even so, the market still shows 29.1% good or great deals, which suggests you can still find competitive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels highly dependable, with praise for its build quality and the kind of ownership experience that inspires confidence over time. The expert review also describes the car as well-mannered and confident in a wide range of situations, which supports the sense that it is engineered to be used regularly, not just admired.

The cost-effectiveness notes also emphasize strong resale value, which matters if you plan to own it for several years. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying a premium for a car that may have been driven hard or optioned lightly, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a documented ownership record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a sports car where wear items, prior repairs, and option content can materially affect value. Focus on condition, equipment, and maintenance history rather than just mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin can feel sparse without upgrades, and the base setup leaves out several comfort and convenience items that many buyers will want. Higher-spec versions add more desirable equipment, so pay close attention to how the car was optioned.
• Powertrain: The 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six comes in multiple outputs, with the Carrera and Carrera 4 at 379 horsepower and the Carrera S and 4S at 443 horsepower. The eight-speed PDK is standard, while the manual is available only on the S and 4S models.
• Safety package: Forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection and front/rear parking sensors come standard. Lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are optional.
• Infotainment: Navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Porsche Connect with onboard LTE WiFi come standard. The Premium package adds 360 cameras, a Bose stereo, and blind-spot monitoring.
• Fuel efficiency: The rear-wheel-drive Carrera S with PDK is rated at 18 mpg city and 24 highway, with 20 combined.

Which 2020 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2020 Porsche 911 is offered in 4 trim levels: Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera S, Carrera 4S.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core 911 experience with the 379-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six, standard PDK, and the model’s signature driving feel. It makes the most sense if you want the 911 badge and performance without chasing every option.
• Carrera 4: Choose this if you want the same base powertrain with all-wheel drive for added all-weather confidence. It suits buyers who want the 911’s character but expect to drive in less predictable conditions.
• Carrera S: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds the stronger 443-horsepower engine and unlocks the manual transmission. If you want the most engaging version without jumping to the top of the range, this is the one to target.
• Carrera 4S: Pick this if you want the stronger engine plus all-wheel drive and the manual-transmission option. It is the right fit if you want maximum versatility and are willing to pay for it.

Safety-package note: lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring are optional rather than standard.

What is the 2020 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $127,921 sits slightly below last year's $129,698.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more intelligently now while still preserving strong long-term value. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the 911’s desirability remains intact even when prices soften, so well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Strong equipment, clean history, and the right trim can help protect value further.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Porsche 911 safe?

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.
