Used 2020 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearChicago, IL

How much does the 2020 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 7.89% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,158 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its value, safety features, and fuel efficiency, and many like the amount of equipment you get for the price. That makes it a sensible fit if you want a practical daily driver with low running costs and straightforward transportation. With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Nissan Kicks reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on value and efficiency. That kind of feedback matters if you want a small SUV you can count on for everyday use without a lot of drama. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a neglected example, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

At 71.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection on any car that looks promising. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently. If a listing has a clean history and checks out mechanically, it deserves extra attention.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Kicks?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.89% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,845, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $12,845 sits slightly below last year's $13,945.

That softer pricing suggests the model is still accessible on the used market, which can help keep demand steady among budget-minded shoppers. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, you should have a reasonable path to resale later. The strongest examples will be the ones with clean history, good maintenance, and the features buyers expect in this segment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.89% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $11,810, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $12,845 average.
• It emphasizes affordability and standard safety features.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $14,346, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $12,845 average.
• It adds more features and a stronger equipment set.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your top priority is spending less, the 2019 is the better value play. If you want more features and can stretch your budget, the 2021 is the upgrade path to consider.
