Used 2020 Lincoln Navigator for Sale nearRochester, NY

How much does the 2020 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 13.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

With 933 listings available, you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the spacious and comfortable interior, the smooth ride, and the high-quality technology. The roomy cabin and comfortable third-row seating also stand out, which makes this a strong fit if you want a large luxury SUV that can genuinely carry passengers in comfort.

The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy and the sense that the powerful engine may be more than some drivers need. Even so, the Navigator’s use case is clear: it’s aimed at buyers who want a big, upscale SUV with a strong presence, a quiet-luxury feel, and real family-hauling space.

With 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market flexibility to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with repeated praise for its comfortable cabin, smooth ride, and high-quality technology. That combination suggests you’re looking at a luxury SUV that many owners feel good about living with over time.

The powertrain is described as strong and well-suited to the Navigator’s mission, and the overall driving experience is presented as refined rather than troublesome. Lincoln’s ownership perks also help soften the experience of scheduled service, including valet pickup and delivery.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is still the same one highlighted by owners: fuel costs can be a persistent burden.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any candidate, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. After that, prioritize a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and ride quality, since this SUV’s appeal depends heavily on comfort and technology working as intended. It also makes sense to focus on overall condition, because a luxury SUV like this can be expensive to refresh if previous owners were careless.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Navigator, Navigator Reserve, and Navigator Black Label are explicitly named, and the Reserve can be paired with the Reserve Monochromatic Package for a more customized look. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you without some of the richer luxury touches, while Reserve and Black Label are the trims that better match the Navigator’s flagship personality.
• Powertrain: You get a single twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, four-wheel drive is available, and the SUV is described as strong on open roads but less happy over rough pavement.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go is standard on Reserve trim.
• Infotainment: The Navigator uses a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen and Sync 3. It supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless device charging, Lincoln Connect with a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, 911 Assist, and Phone As A Key. The system is described as slow to load, so responsiveness is worth checking on a test drive.
• Fuel efficiency: The SUV averaged 16.4 mpg on the testing loop, and the EPA says to expect 18 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2020 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Navigator, Navigator Reserve, Navigator Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Navigator: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Navigator experience with the big V6, the spacious cabin, and the standard safety and tech features. It makes sense if you want the model’s size and presence without stretching for the more indulgent trims.
• Navigator Reserve: This is the best-value trim because it adds the richer luxury feel most shoppers want from a Navigator, including the available Luxury Package content and standard adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, this is the one to target.
• Navigator Black Label: This is the most upscale choice, and it leans into Lincoln’s premium ownership experience with extra perks and more lavish presentation. Choose it if you want the most luxurious version and are willing to pay for it.

The standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 safety suite is included, and Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Lincoln Navigator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 933 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,262, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $34,281 sits slightly below last year's $39,418.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you’re thinking about short-term resale. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you should expect value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than on broad market momentum.

The good news is that a well-kept Navigator still has appeal because it offers a distinctive luxury-SUV experience with strong comfort and space. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2020 Lincoln Navigator earns a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assistance, blind-spot warning with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic warning, and automatic high-beam headlights. Reserve trim adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability.

One caveat is that the NHTSA says rollover resistance is just three stars with rear-wheel drive. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not tested this model year.

Should I buy a 2020 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines flagship comfort with a strong engine and a spacious, family-friendly cabin.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $38,504, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $34,281 average.
• It adds a quieter, more apartment-like luxury feel with comfier seating.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the better value and can live with its fuel economy and tech lag. Step up to the 2021 only if you’re willing to pay more for a slightly more polished cabin experience; otherwise, the 2020 is the smarter buy for price-sensitive shoppers.
