How much does the 2020 Ford Fusion cost?

There are 1,300 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2020 Ford Fusion a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Ford Fusion earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, smooth handling, and impressive amount of technology for the price, and they also like the comfortable ride, good fuel efficiency, and spacious trunk. In practical terms, that makes it a good fit if you want a midsize sedan that balances everyday comfort, useful features, and value. With 28.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Ford Fusion reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for the car’s smooth driving character, comfortable ride, and overall satisfaction over time. Some shoppers do mention engine noise and a less engaging driving feel, but the broader sentiment suggests the Fusion can be a trouble-free choice if you buy a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is choosing a car with hidden wear or poor maintenance history rather than a fundamentally weak platform.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Ford Fusion?

At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and ownership patterns before you commit. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus your condition check on signs of prior bodywork, uneven panel gaps, tire wear, and any unusual engine noise so you can separate a clean, well-maintained car from one that only looks good online.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Ford Fusion?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,300 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 65.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,464, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $13,464 sits slightly below last year's $14,847.

That tells you the Fusion has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For future resale, the same trend means you should expect value retention to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. A clean, well-maintained example should be easier to move later than one with accident history or visible wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 65.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2020 if you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and late-run feature content in the Fusion lineup. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth considering, but you should still compare condition, accident history, and equipment closely before deciding.
