Used 2020 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale nearNew York, NY

How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 3.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,157 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.84/5 user rating and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the incredible handling, acceleration, and the dramatic mid-engine design. They also value its near-supercar performance and strong value proposition, which lines up with the car’s role as a serious sports car that still undercuts many exotic rivals.

The main trade-offs are poor visibility and limited cargo space, and the expert review also notes some everyday compromises in comfort and practicality. If you want a car that feels special and delivers huge performance without supercar pricing, this year’s Corvette fits that brief well.

With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a reasonable chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.84/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels thrilling and satisfying over time, with strong praise for performance and the mid-engine layout. The expert review also emphasizes the Corvette’s engineering depth, predictable behavior, and confidence-inspiring dynamics, which are all good signs for dependability-minded shoppers.

Chevy also includes the first scheduled maintenance service for free, which helps reduce early ownership costs. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is less about mechanical fragility and more about finding a well-kept example that hasn’t been driven hard or modified heavily.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with this much performance potential. Focus on condition, signs of track use, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim level you’re considering. Because visibility is poor and the car sits low, it’s also worth checking for curb rash, front-end wear, and any evidence of parking damage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Stingray 1LT Coupe is the stripped-down starting point, while 2LT and 3LT add the kinds of comfort and convenience features many shoppers will want. The 3LT package brings a much richer interior with premium materials, and the expert review makes clear that the base car leaves some desirable equipment for higher trims.
• Powertrain: The standard naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 makes 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque, while the Z51 Package or optional performance exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft. The eight-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard, and the car also offers multiple drive modes for different conditions.
• Safety package: The Corvette includes a high-definition reversing camera, rear parking assist sensors, and Teen Driver technology as standard. On 2LT and 3LT, you also get blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a curb-view camera system, and a rear camera mirror.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, OnStar connected services, WiFi, Amazon Alexa, and Bluetooth pairing. 2LT and 3LT add satellite radio, navigation, and a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Corvette is rated at 15 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined.

Which 2020 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: Stingray 1LT Coupe, 2LT, and 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• Stingray 1LT Coupe: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Corvette experience at the lowest price. It makes the most sense if you care most about performance and want to keep the purchase price down.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a lot of the convenience and safety equipment you’re likely to want, including the head-up display and the extra driver-assistance features. It also unlocks more infotainment and comfort upgrades.
• 3LT: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest interior materials and the most premium feel. Choose it if you want the Corvette experience with the most upscale cabin presentation.

The safety-package upgrades on 2LT and 3LT are especially worth noting because they add blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a curb-view camera system, and a rear camera mirror.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,157 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $62,703, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $62,703 sits slightly below last year's $65,266.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give buyers some leverage, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to move a car quickly. Because the Corvette remains a high-demand performance model, well-kept examples should still attract attention, especially if they’re accident-free and properly documented.

Strong owner satisfaction helps support demand over time, and that can cushion resale values better than you might expect for a sports car. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.84/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

It does not come with a broad suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, and the review makes clear that you are expected to drive it yourself. Standard safety equipment includes a high-definition reversing camera, rear parking assist sensors, and Teen Driver technology.

If you choose 2LT or 3LT, you get blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a curb-view camera system, and a rear camera mirror. The biggest caveat is rear visibility, which is described as downright atrocious, so the camera-based aids matter more here than they do in many other cars.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.84/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The mid-engine redesign delivers near-supercar performance at a far lower price than the outgoing ZR1.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $64,107, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $62,703 average.
• The convertible adds a more convenient and visceral open-air driving experience.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of price, performance, and market availability, the 2020 is the smarter buy. If you’re willing to spend more for the next year’s open-air appeal, the 2021 is the better fit for buyers who prioritize that experience over value.
