How much does the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

There are 2,514 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — 4.67/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado stands out as a midsize pickup that blends real utility with a broad range of trims and powertrains, so you can shop it as either a basic workhorse or a more comfortable daily driver. Its appeal is strongest if you want a truck with flexible configurations and capability-focused upper trims. 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2020 Colorado does have known transmission concerns, with recurring problems reported on trucks built from 2014 to 2019 and even a few later ones. That means you should treat condition and service history as especially important when evaluating a used example. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a truck that already shows signs of the transmission issues tied to this generation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

At 68.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put the truck on an inspection lift if possible, and pay close attention to the transmission’s behavior during a test drive. Focus on overall condition, service records, and signs of hard use, especially if you are considering a higher-trim truck that may have seen more demanding driving.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,514 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,306, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $22,460 sits slightly below last year's $23,442.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale upside may be more limited unless the truck is especially well kept or equipped. Strong condition and clean history matter more when the broader market is already leaning downward.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $21,537, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $22,460 average.
• It emphasizes simplicity and sensibility.

The bottom line: Choose the 2020 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, availability, and buyer satisfaction. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2019 is the better value play, but the 2020 gives you a broader shopping pool and a more current market position.
