You should start with a history report to confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Should I buy a 2020 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.55/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $17,213, the 2019 costs less than the current year's $18,632 average.
• It offers a premium feel with comfortable, spacious appeal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,571, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,632 average.
• It brings a redesigned look with more polished styling and easier tech.

The bottom line: The 2020 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked, comfort-first SUV at a softer price than newer alternatives. If your budget is tighter, the 2019 is the value play, while the 2021 makes sense if you want the newer-generation look and are willing to pay more.
