Selectable drive modes include Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual settings, and the S Sport package includes an adaptive suspension system. The S5 is available in Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trims. Standard features include 12-way power front seats, heated front seats, a flat-bottom sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, a panoramic sunroof, and LED ambient lighting. Options include keyless entry, push-button start, and a hands-free trunk. The 2020 S5 gets upgraded with a new standard 10.1-inch touchscreen display and the new MIB 3 infotainment system. Other standard features include voice controls, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD Radio, and Bluetooth, and options include a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. The Audi S5 does not get crash-tested independently of the base Audi A5. For 2019, the A5 Coupe earned the top score of Good in five crash tests from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Safety features include a reversing camera, rain-sensing windshield wipers, the Audi Pre-Sense Basic collision-preparation system, and the Audi Pre-Sense City pedestrian detection system. The Audi S5’s updated stying might not have been necessary, but a faster and more advanced infotainment system is always a welcome update. The S5 remains a sharp choice in the luxury sedan segment.
