Should I buy a 2020 Audi Q5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 76.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,501, the 2021 costs more than the current year's $18,937 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option for buyers who want electrified driving.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2020 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If you’re willing to spend more for the newer model’s plug-in hybrid option, the 2021 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2020 is the easier recommendation.
