How much does the 2020 Audi A4 cost?

Is the 2020 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2020 Audi A4 stands out as a compact luxury sedan that blends everyday usability with a strong technology story, and it offers available quattro all-wheel drive for added traction and a more secure feel in poor weather. It also brings an upgraded MMI system with a 10.1-inch touch screen, plus available Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Virtual Cockpit, which makes it appealing if you want a tech-forward daily driver. 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2020 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2020 Audi A4’s appeal comes from its blend of everyday usability, available all-wheel drive, and a cabin that can be equipped with useful comfort and driver-assistance features. It also benefits from a well-developed model-year setup, though the base engine is described as underwhelming and the back seat is cramped. For used buyers, that means your biggest long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car whose condition or equipment level doesn’t match your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2020 Audi A4?

At 64.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of inconsistent wear, then make sure the cabin electronics and infotainment features work as expected. Because this model’s appeal depends heavily on condition and equipment, focus on how well the car has been maintained rather than just the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 493 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,560, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $19,560 sits slightly below last year's $22,068.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should still attract interest, but you may need to price competitively if you plan to sell later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2020 Audi A4 is the right pick if you want the updated cabin tech and a balanced luxury-sedan feel at a lower used price than newer model years. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and shop for the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than focusing only on the badge year.
