Is the 2019 Audi A4 a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Audi A4 earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its driving experience, handling, safety, luxurious interior features, and advanced technology, including the sound system. For you, that means this model year fits well if you want a compact luxury sedan that balances everyday usability with a premium feel. Is the 2019 Audi A4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with drivers describing the car as reliable and appreciating its trouble-free feel over time. That said, some owners worry that the high-tech features could lead to expensive repairs later, so a careful used-car inspection matters if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Audi A4?

At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can confirm accident records, title status, and service history before you commit. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the car’s condition, especially the technology and interior features that owners value most. If you’re comparing multiple listings, pay close attention to signs of wear, repair quality, and whether the car’s equipment still works as intended.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 669 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,196, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $17,196 sits slightly below last year's $19,263.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, which can also shape what you should expect if you plan to resell later. A softer market today can mean more competition among sellers, so condition, mileage, and maintenance history matter even more when you eventually list the car. Strong presentation and a clean history can help you stand out if you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is a strong choice if you want a well-liked A4 with a favorable price trend and a healthy amount of inventory to shop from. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can use the softer market to target the cleanest, best-priced examples rather than settling for the first one you see.
