How much does the 2019 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,112 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — 4.6/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with the Corolla’s reputation for affordability, reliability, and excellent gas mileage. Reviewers also repeatedly point to its strong safety features and easy-to-use nature, which makes it appealing if you want a straightforward everyday car. The tradeoff is that some drivers wish it felt more exciting or offered more convenience features, so it fits best if you value practicality over flash. With 30.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary reinforces that theme by highlighting reliability, affordability, and an easy ownership experience. It also points to the Corolla’s low running costs and everyday usability, which are exactly the kinds of traits buyers usually want when they plan to keep a car for a while. For used buyers, that generally means lower long-term ownership risk if you choose a well-maintained example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with past damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price looks unusually attractive. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and signs of inconsistent wear so you can avoid paying too much for a car with hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,817 sits slightly above last year's $14,735.

That small increase suggests the Corolla has held its value fairly well, which is a good sign if you plan to sell later. Stable pricing also points to steady demand rather than sharp swings, so you are less likely to face a sudden drop in market interest. Because the model is associated with practical ownership and low running costs, it tends to appeal to a broad pool of used-car shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $16,630, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $14,817 average.
• It adds a more stylish design and a bit more personality.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition. If you can stretch your budget and want a more polished-feeling Corolla, the 2020 is the better upgrade path.
