How much does the 2019 Toyota Corolla cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,096 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and condition.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its affordability, reliability, and excellent gas mileage, and many also like its strong safety features and ease of use. That fits the Corolla’s role as a practical, straightforward daily driver for you if you want dependable transportation over flash. With 32.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2019 Toyota Corolla reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly highlights reliability, and drivers also describe it as dependable and trouble-free for everyday use. The Corolla’s reputation for low running costs and long-term ownership appeal lines up with that feedback, especially if you want a car you can count on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s core durability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

At 51.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, since accident history can affect both value and future repair risk. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past repairs, then make sure the car drives straight and feels consistent at highway speeds. It also helps to focus on maintenance records and overall wear, because a clean-looking Corolla can still hide costly issues if it was poorly cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Corolla?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,096 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 51.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $14,753 sits slightly above last year's $14,616.

That small increase suggests the Corolla has held its value fairly well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to steady demand and fewer surprises when you decide to trade or sell. The model’s practical reputation and broad appeal should continue to support a healthy used market, especially for well-kept examples with clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 51.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $16,534, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $14,753 average.
• The redesign adds more style and a bit more character.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2019 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid owner satisfaction and a decent deal share. If you can stretch your budget and want a newer-feeling Corolla with more style, the 2020 is the better upgrade path.
