Used 2019 Toyota Camry for Sale nearSilver Spring, MD

How much does the 2019 Toyota Camry cost?

Prices have softened 2.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,065 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Toyota Camry a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Toyota Camry earns a 4.8/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise its reliability, comfortable ride, and fuel efficiency, and they also like the smooth handling and stylish design. In practical terms, that lines up well with a sedan that works for commuting and daily errands while still feeling more engaging than many family cars.

The trade-offs are clear: it is smaller than some rivals, offers fewer features than some shoppers expect in the segment, and its interior materials feel cheap. It also has limited cargo space, so if you need maximum room, you may want to compare it carefully against other midsize sedans.

The Camry’s appeal is strongest if you want a family sedan with style, safety, and value, especially if you can live with a few comfort and packaging compromises. Good and great deals account for 29.7% of listings, so there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Toyota Camry reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback repeatedly points to reliability, and drivers also describe it as dependable for everyday use. The ownership story is reinforced by the free scheduled maintenance plan and the model’s trouble-free reputation, which both support confidence over the long haul.

The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the Camry is a safe choice for value seekers and highlights its long-standing reputation for delivering a trouble-free ownership experience. That said, used buyers should still verify maintenance history and overall condition, since long-term dependability depends on how well the car was cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota Camry?

At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. After that, prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, interior wear, and any signs that the car was not maintained carefully.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Camry is offered with standard and sporty styling, and the review says the best bang for your buck is the standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with LE trim at a minimum. The XLE is described as the upscale choice, while the XSE V6 is the test car and brings a more dramatic look and a higher-end feel.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 203-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 301-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, with a hybrid also mentioned in the review. The 4-cylinder is presented as suitable for daily driving, while the V6 is the more entertaining option and adds a lot of torque.
• Safety package: Every 2019 Camry has Toyota Safety Sense with adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. The suite is not the newer 2.0 version, and lower trims use standard headlights that are rated Acceptable instead of Good.
• Infotainment: The Camry uses Entune 3.0, includes Apple CarPlay, and offers a 6-month/2GB WiFi Connect subscription. It still lacks Android Auto, though it does include a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: The review says the hybrid can add up to 20 miles per gallon to the car’s fuel economy, and the V6 test car returned 21.9 mpg on the reviewer’s loop versus an EPA combined rating of 26 mpg.

Which 2019 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?

The 2019 Toyota Camry is offered in 5 trim levels: L, LE, XLE, SE, and XSE.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, but the review makes clear that you should at least step up to LE if you want the best value and a more complete ownership experience.
• LE: This is the best-value trim because it is the reviewer’s minimum recommendation for the standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder setup, giving you the strongest balance of price and everyday usefulness.
• XLE: This is the upscale choice if you want a more premium-feeling Camry without chasing the sportiest look or the highest price.
• SE: This trim leans into the sporty side of the Camry’s personality and fits you if you want a more aggressive appearance without going all the way to the top.
• XSE: This is the most expressive trim in the review, and the V6 version adds the strongest performance and the most dramatic styling for buyers who want the Camry to feel less like a conventional family sedan.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, but lower trims use headlights that are rated Acceptable rather than Good.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,065 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,991, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $18,874 sits slightly below last year's $19,284.

That softer pricing suggests the Camry is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can help you enter ownership at a better value. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you maintain the car and how clean its history is.

Because the model still has broad appeal, a well-kept example should remain easy to market when it is time to sell. Strong condition, documented maintenance, and a clean accident history will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 Toyota Camry safe?

The 2019 Toyota Camry earns five-star ratings in every single assessment from NHTSA, including the rollover resistance test, and it earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. The system is described as refined and accurate, though the lane-departure warning beeping can become annoying.

Lower trims use standard headlights that are rated Acceptable instead of Good, so if lighting performance matters to you, that is worth checking closely. Toyota also includes Safety Connect for the first three years of ownership, adding automatic collision notification, SOS emergency calling, and roadside assistance access.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong safety ratings with a free scheduled maintenance plan and a 6-cylinder option.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $17,835, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $18,874 average.
• It emphasizes dependable daily transportation with bold styling and strong owner praise.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $20,377, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $18,874 average.
• It adds all-wheel drive and a sportier TRD version with a 301-horsepower V6.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the right pick if you want the strongest mix of safety, value, and a more engaging personality than many midsize sedans. If your priority is saving money, the 2018 is the better budget play; if you want newer features and extra traction, the 2020 is worth the premium.
