Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Should I buy a 2019 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 19.14% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $127,745, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $221,990 average.
• It moves into the next-generation 992 design with a more current feel.

The bottom line: If you want the 2019’s strong owner satisfaction, clean inventory, and proven desirability, it’s the safer emotional buy. If your priority is spending less, the 2020 is the better price-sensitive path and may be worth a closer look.
