Used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS cost?

Prices have softened 12.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 840 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, comfort, and luxury features, and the GLS’s three-row layout and family-first focus make it especially appealing if you want a large upscale SUV with real passenger and cargo space. The tradeoff is that its technology can feel dated and its efficiency is not a strength, so it fits you best if comfort and traditional Mercedes luxury matter more than the newest electronics. With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort and luxury rather than frequent complaints about core drivability. That said, the same reviews note concerns about cost, poor gas mileage, and rapid depreciation, so your long-term ownership risk is more about value retention and running costs than basic satisfaction.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was cosmetic or structural. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on suspension behavior, electronics, and signs of uneven wear, since this model’s luxury equipment and age make condition more important than mileage alone. Pay close attention to maintenance records and overall interior and exterior condition so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 840 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,233, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS's resale value?

The current average of $23,233 sits slightly below last year's $26,569.

That decline tells you the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit how much value you recover later. If you plan to sell in a few years, the GLS’s appeal will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history, since buyers in this segment tend to be selective. Strong presentation and a clean record matter a lot when you want to protect resale value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the classic first-generation GLS formula with a comfort-first ride, lots of space, and a lower entry price than newer versions, the 2019 is the better fit. If you’re especially price-sensitive and want to maximize value, you can also compare it with nearby years, but the 2019 stands out as the more affordable path into this luxury three-row SUV.
