Used 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid for Sale near Murfreesboro, TN
The number of midsize gasoline-electric hybrid sedans continues to grow with hybrid versions of the Chevrolet Malibu, Ford Fusion, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, and Toyota Camry available. It’s in this competitive field that the Honda Accord Hybrid finds itself. The entire Accord line underwent a full redesign last year, and so the 2019 model carries over.
Visually, a set of hybrid badges on each fender and the decklid differentiate the Accord Hybrid from the regular Accord. Inside, the Accord Hybrid features revised instrument panel readouts and the push-button gear selector borrowed from higher-end gasoline-only models. The Accord Hybrid boasts the same 17 cubic feet of trunk space and optional 60/40 split-folding rear seats as other Accords.
You’ll find Honda’s e-CVT powertrain beneath the hood of every Accord Hybrid. That name is a bit of a misnomer; while it suggests some sort of continuously variable transmission (CVT), the Accord Hybrid lacks a transmission. Instead, a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine and electric motor combine to turn the front wheels directly and provide 212 combined horsepower. Four levels of regenerative braking are available to recapture energy, controlled by a paddle mounted behind the steering wheel. Use the EV-only mode, and you can force the car to solely use the electric motor for a nominal range of a few miles. These features all contribute to the Accord Hybrid’s 48 mpg city, highway, and combined ratings, along with 602 miles of range between fill-ups.
Honda mostly treats the Accord Hybrid as a distinct powertrain option for the Accord lineup as a whole, so you can get it in the same EX, EX-L, and Touring trims along with an entry-level Base trim. Comparable to the LX grade on the gas-only Accord, Base gets you 17-inch alloy wheels, LED low-beam headlights, LED daytime-running lights, a 7-inch color LCD, keyless start, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The EX trim comes with a nicer 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED fog lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless access, heated front seats, a 12-way power driver’s seat, remote start, the 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and heated power side mirrors.
The EX-L Hybrid trim includes leather upholstery, driver’s seat memory, a 450-watt premium audio system with 10 speakers, a power-adjustable passenger’s seat, a garage door opener, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Finally, Touring Hybrid trims receive cooled front seats, a wireless phone charger, mobile hotspot capability, navigation, heated rear-outboard seats, full LED headlights, interior ambient lighting, and near-field communication (NFC) that lets you pair a Bluetooth phone within a few seconds.
All Accord Hybrids come with a multi-angle reversing camera and Honda Sensing safety suite. The latter bundles frontal-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and traffic-sign recognition. EX and above trims add blind-spot monitoring, and the Touring trim gets reversing sensors and a heads-up display (HUD). The non-hybrid Accord, which uses the same body and structure as the Accord Hybrid, received a 2019 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The Hybrid also received a 5-star rating from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The Honda Accord Hybrid remains a handsome and well-equipped mode of conveyance in any guise. It’s also a super-efficient way to transport as many as five people, with best-in-class fuel economy overall.

(5 reviews)Great gas mileage, runs smoothly and drives effortlessly. It’s great looking too!
Great car! Im averaging 43 MPG which is still three times better than my previous vehicle, Infiniti M35 Sport. Interior is very spacious and easy on the eyes. Lots of trunk space. Technology is very cool for a Honda, i.e. Head Up Display (HUD), and electronic shift bottoms, especially the Hold Break feature at the red lights. If you want a very good interior space and size of a sedan, with a better than average fuel efficiency, and still a decent acceleration off the line, then a Honda Accord Hybrid is a good fit!
the car is a good car. it is a sleek ride. it is fun to own. the one thing I will recommend is to higher the front seats to be a little bit higher. it is too low and makes someone have lower back ache.
Excellent Perfect terrific great wonderful super fantastic lovely Great Fabulous Lovely
Nice car and nice features however we end up purchasing a KIA Optima Hybrid. The price for a leather interior equipped KIA model was four thousand dollars less and had a much much better warranty!
