How much does the 2019 GMC Yukon XL cost?

Prices have softened 13.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,098 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and conditions.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfortable ride, and generous cargo space, and those strengths line up well with its role as a large family hauler. If you want a roomy, comfortable SUV with strong utility and a premium feel, this model year fits that use case well. The market also shows 32.1% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centered on comfort, space, and smooth handling. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about satisfaction and more about making sure a large, heavily used SUV has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by years of family duty.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

At 62.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from ones with prior damage or repeated claims. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on a full-size SUV that may have seen heavy family, towing, or road-trip use. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that could hint at harder-than-average ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 GMC Yukon XL?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,098 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,482, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 GMC Yukon XL's resale value?

The current average of $24,482 sits slightly below last year's $28,360.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for a while. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale upside may be more limited unless the vehicle is especially clean, well maintained, and attractively equipped. Strong condition and a good ownership history matter more when the broader market has already cooled.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 GMC Yukon XL or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2019 makes sense if you want a large, comfortable SUV and you can find a clean example with a strong history and a fair price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained listing rather than the newest badge.
