Used 2019 Ford Taurus for Sale nearSaint Paul, MN

How much does the 2019 Ford Taurus cost?

Prices have softened 10.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 292 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Taurus earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, strong performance, luxury features, safety aspects, smooth ride, and impressive handling, especially in challenging conditions. For you, that makes it a sensible choice if you want a roomy full-size sedan with a calm, substantial feel rather than something flashy. With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the Taurus feels dependable in daily use, with praise for its trouble-free comfort, smooth ride, and confidence-inspiring behavior in challenging conditions. That kind of feedback suggests you should expect solid long-term ownership satisfaction if you find a well-kept example. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition of the specific car you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

At 57.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s structural and mechanical condition. Focus on signs of prior bodywork, uneven wear, and any evidence that the car’s comfort, ride quality, or safety systems have been compromised. Because this is a large sedan that buyers often keep for comfort and long-distance use, condition matters more than mileage alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Taurus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 292 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.59% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,946, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Taurus's resale value?

The current average of $12,946 sits slightly below last year's $14,480.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation should matter more if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the newest version of this full-size sedan and you value strong owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the straightforward pick. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but you should still focus on condition, accident history, and whether the listing price reflects the car’s current market softness.
