Used 2019 Ford Fusion Energi for Sale nearKutztown, PA

How much does the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi cost?

Prices have softened 2.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 83 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of cars to compare.

Is the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 8/10.

Drivers consistently praise its comfort, quiet ride, good handling, and decent gas mileage. The overview also points to its plug-in hybrid setup and added electric range, which make it appealing if you want a commuter-friendly hybrid with a more premium feel than many economy-minded alternatives.

Only 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective even if the model itself is well liked.

Is the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience centered on comfort, quietness, and solid everyday efficiency. The expert evaluation also points to a week of driving before the gas gauge moved much, which supports the idea that the plug-in hybrid system can deliver strong day-to-day usability when you charge regularly.

Ford also adds a useful maintenance perk this year: the Federal Tax Credit rises to $4,600. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that battery-related range expectations and reduced cargo space can affect satisfaction if you need maximum practicality.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Ford Fusion Energi?

At 68.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of bodywork, panel alignment, and any signs of prior repair. Because this model’s battery packaging reduces trunk space, you should also make sure the cargo area still meets your needs in real use. If possible, confirm that the charging system works properly and that the car can deliver the electric driving behavior you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Energi is available in only the top-tier Titanium trim, and the cabin is described as well equipped with LEDs all around, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming driver’s mirror, automatic wipers, keyless entry and ignition with remote start, adaptive cruise, heated and ventilated front power seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 12-speaker Sony stereo. The main tradeoff is that the materials and switchgear do not feel especially premium for the price.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid setup gains increased battery capacity this year, lifting the stated electric range from 21 to 25 miles. The electric motor has enough torque to overwhelm traction at times, especially in wet conditions, and the overall range is a major strength.
• Safety package: Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite is standard and includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high-beams, and a reversing camera. You cannot disable the lane-keep function.
• Infotainment: The Sync 3 system is paired with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the car also gets a 12-speaker Sony stereo with HD and satellite radio. The interface is competent, though it can lag at times.
• Fuel efficiency: The expert notes that the car can go nearly an entire week before the gas gauge moves much, but no MPG or MPGe figure is stated.

Which 2019 Ford Fusion Energi trim should I buy?

The 2019 Ford Fusion Energi is offered in 1 trim level: Titanium.

Here's the short version:

The Titanium is the only choice, so your decision is really whether you want the Energi’s plug-in hybrid range, standard Co-Pilot360 safety tech, and strong equipment list enough to accept its limited trunk space and less-than-premium interior feel. It suits you best if you want a well-equipped plug-in hybrid commuter and can live with the packaging compromises.

The standard safety package is a major part of the value story, since it comes with blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high-beams, and a reversing camera.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Fusion Energi?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find reasonable opportunities.

• Deal availability: 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 83 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.06% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 68.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,683, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi's resale value?

The current average of $15,651 sits slightly below last year's $15,980.

That softer pricing suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price. The current market also shows a fairly tight year-round range, so values may remain relatively stable if demand holds. Strong owner satisfaction can help support that stability by keeping shopper interest steady.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2019 Ford Fusion Energi safe?

The 2019 Ford Fusion Energi earns an overall five-star rating from NHTSA, though it also posts a three-star rating in the front-passenger test and a four-star rollover rating. IIHS testing gave it top marks in all tests except for a Poor rating for the headlights and a Marginal rating for child-seat anchor ease of use.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite is standard and includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high-beams, and a reversing camera. One caveat is that you cannot disable lane-keep assist, and the expert review also flags longer-than-average stopping distances as a concern.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Fusion Energi or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 68.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2019 model year adds increased battery capacity, a higher stated electric range, and standard Co-Pilot360 driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Fusion Energi experience, the 2019 is the one to target because it brings the improved battery, longer electric range, and standard safety tech. If you’re especially price-sensitive, focus on the best-maintained example you can find and be ready to verify history carefully, since accident-free listings are not the majority.
