How much does the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV cost?

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV a good car?

Yes — based on a 4.5/5 user rating, this model year is a strong fit if you want a full-size luxury SUV built around space, power, and upscale features. The overview points to a roomy cabin, seating for up to eight, and a long-wheelbase layout that gives the third row extra legroom, so it works well if you need passenger space and a premium feel. It also brings strong towing ability and a long list of comfort and convenience features, though its fuel economy and some dated tech can be drawbacks if you want a more modern-feeling SUV. 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a durable, capability-focused luxury SUV with a proven V8 powertrain and a straightforward mission centered on space and comfort. Its main ownership tradeoffs are more about efficiency and age-related technology than outright complexity. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is ending up with a high-cost luxury SUV that has been poorly maintained or heavily worn.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

At 60% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for signs of wear in the suspension, interior electronics, and cargo-area usability. Because this model is a large luxury SUV, condition matters a lot: focus on maintenance records, evidence of careful ownership, and how well the cabin and power features have held up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much that you should rush without comparing options.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 570 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 60% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,618, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV's resale value?

The current average of $27,618 sits slightly below last year's $30,796.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that this model year is holding value better than a steeply falling vehicle, but it is still moving in a softer pricing environment. If you buy well and keep the SUV in strong condition, you improve your chances of preserving value when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 60% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2019 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and owner satisfaction in this comparison. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still be worth considering, but the 2019 gives you a solid balance of value and desirability if you find a clean example at the right price.
