Why it stands out
The 2018 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid merges Toyota's expertise in hybrid technology with the practicality of an SUV, making it a formidable option for drivers seeking fuel efficiency without sacrificing the versatility of an SUV. The hybrid system combines a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, resulting in an impressive 219 horsepower while delivering a fuel economy of 39 mpg combined. Owners appreciate the vehicle's numerous safety features and comfortable ride, noting that it feels smooth and stylish. However, some have noted that the vehicle can be noise-prone on highways and lack certain features, such as satellite radio in the LE trim. Overall, its reliability and cost-effectiveness make it a popular choice among compact SUV buyers.

Great car so far. My first hybrid car. I have driven first gen Priuses, Nissan Leaf, and this is much improved from those days. Having All Wheel drive is key for me, and this vehicle fits the bill. I love this body style as Toyota has changed RAV4 body style in 2019, which to me is more square instead of roundish edges on the 2018. This mid SUV is comfortable driving, has plenty of power, and overall a quiet vehicle. LE doesn’t have Satellite radio option is my only minor complaint. Super vehicle with gas prices still going in the wrong direction.

I am very satisfied with the car. It has a number of safety features (e.g. Dynamic Cruise Control, Cross Traffic Alert, back up camera) that make driving much safer and easier. It handles well. On the highway it can be a little noisy. I also like the look of the car.
