Used 2018 Buick LaCrosse for Sale nearIndianapolis, IN

How much does the 2018 Buick LaCrosse cost?

Prices have softened 7.46% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 278 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 Buick LaCrosse a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Buick LaCrosse earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

The overview describes it as a large, quiet sedan with a traditional Buick comfort focus, plus a more modern shape and feature set. It also emphasizes a roomy cabin, a relaxed upscale feel, and useful everyday features such as a larger trunk, a bigger back seat, and available comfort and tech upgrades. If you want a plush, low-key sedan rather than a flashy performance car, that positioning fits well.

With 26.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2018 Buick LaCrosse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a comfortable, upscale-feeling sedan with a quiet ride and a well-rounded feature set, which supports its appeal as a used buy. It also notes some tradeoffs, including flimsy interior plastics and a high original price, so condition matters when you evaluate one today.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is finding a car that has been maintained well enough to avoid compounding age-related wear and interior quality issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Buick LaCrosse?

At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. Then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for body condition, interior wear, and signs that the car’s upscale features still work properly. Because the cabin materials are described as somewhat flimsy, pay close attention to trim fit, switchgear, and any signs of heavy use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Buick LaCrosse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 278 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.46% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $15,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Buick LaCrosse's resale value?

The current average of $15,964 sits slightly below last year's $17,251.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and how well the car presents than on broad market momentum alone. Clean history and strong maintenance records should matter more if you want to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Buick LaCrosse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 26.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $15,102, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $15,964 average.
• It offers a redesigned, more premium-feeling take on the LaCrosse with broad appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall value proposition, the 2018 is the better primary target because it combines a softer market, strong satisfaction, and a well-equipped used-sedan profile. If your budget is tighter, the 2017 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the 2018 on price while still delivering a compelling upscale feel.
