Used 2018 Buick Envision for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2018 Buick Envision cost?

Prices have softened 6.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 555 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2018 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Buick Envision earns a 4.6/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its safety, smooth ride, spacious interior, and luxury features, and those themes line up well with its role as a compact luxury SUV that aims to feel more upscale than mainstream rivals. If you want a comfortable, well-equipped SUV with available all-wheel drive and a premium feel without true luxury-brand pricing, this model year fits that use case well. With 30.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2018 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise centered on safety, smooth driving, and a generally satisfying day-to-day feel. That said, some drivers mention minor design flaws and cosmetic concerns, so a careful used-car inspection still matters. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Buick Envision?

At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially for body condition, panel alignment, and any signs of cosmetic repair. Because owners mention minor design flaws and cosmetic marks, it makes sense to focus on overall condition and evidence of careful ownership.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 555 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,901, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $15,088 sits slightly below last year's $16,134.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face some pressure if the market stays competitive. A used Envision that is clean, well maintained, and priced near the lower end of the range should be easier to move later than one with visible wear or a questionable history. Strong condition matters here because shoppers in this segment tend to compare value closely against other compact luxury SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2019 if:

• At $16,996, the 2019 costs more than the current year's $15,088 average.
• It adds a more upscale, comfort-focused luxury feel with stronger appeal to younger luxury shoppers.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2018 if you want the better value and a broader pool of deals. If you can stretch your budget and want a newer-feeling luxury presentation, the 2019 is the secondary path to consider.
