Used 2018 BMW 4 Series for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2018 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 4.88% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 889 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2018 BMW 4 Series a good car?

Yes — the 2018 BMW 4 Series earns a 4.92/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its quality, performance, luxury features, smooth ride, sporty handling, and useful tech such as the sound system and navigation. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a premium two-door coupe or convertible with a distinctive shape and a sporty feel. With 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market also gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2018 BMW 4 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.92/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience, with praise centered on quality, smooth operation, and a generally trouble-free feel. That said, used luxury cars can carry higher long-term ownership risk if maintenance has been skipped, so you should prioritize service history and overall condition before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 BMW 4 Series?

At 50.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of past collision work, then make sure the car’s mechanical condition matches its premium positioning. If you are considering a convertible, pay extra attention to usability and storage, since owners note limited trunk space and comfort concerns for taller drivers.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 BMW 4 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 889 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 50.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,216, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $17,410 sits slightly below last year's $18,303.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your future value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and maintenance history. Well-kept examples should hold up better than neglected ones, especially in a premium segment where buyers pay close attention to presentation and service records.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.92/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.92/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, owner satisfaction, and current market availability, the 2018 is a sensible primary choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the cleanest, best-documented example rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
