Used 2018 Audi A5 for Sale nearSeattle, WA

How much does the 2018 Audi A5 cost?

Prices have softened 5.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 222 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Audi A5 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its elegant design, impressive handling, and advanced features, and many also like the roomy interior compared with competitors. The model’s premium feel and everyday usability make it a strong fit if you want a stylish luxury car that still works well for regular driving. With 39.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find attractive pricing.

Is the 2018 Audi A5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights the A5 as reliable in the sense that owners appreciate its trouble-free ownership experience, dependable feel, and the confidence it inspires over the long term. That said, a few buyers have reported condition issues at purchase, so your best protection is to focus on maintenance history and overall vehicle condition. For used shoppers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a car that was not cared for consistently before it reached the lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2018 Audi A5?

At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with accident records or other red flags. After that, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair work. Because owner feedback points to some inconsistency in purchase condition, you should be especially careful about cosmetic quality, maintenance records, and how well the car has been kept overall.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Audi A5?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 61.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,997, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Audi A5's resale value?

The current average of $19,219 sits slightly below last year's $20,388.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and documentation than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples should hold up better than average because buyers still respond to the A5’s upscale image and strong owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2018 is the right pick if you want the redesigned A5’s broader usability, strong owner approval, and a market that currently offers decent deal potential. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example fits your budget more comfortably, but the 2018 remains a compelling choice when condition and history check out.
