## Why it stands out
The 2017 Subaru WRX continues the longstanding tradition of its predecessors by offering a thrilling driving experience that appeals to performance enthusiasts. This model year is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder Boxer engine, delivering significant acceleration and handling prowess, particularly on winding roads or in adverse weather, thanks to its standard all-wheel drive system. Buyers will appreciate the WRX for its sporty appearance and engaging manual transmission option, although there are some noted limitations, such as a somewhat cramped rear seat and a desire for more modern technology features. Complaints about the manual shifter being a bit rough have also surfaced among some owners. Overall, the 2017 model strikes an appealing balance between daily practicality and spirited performance, solidifying its status as a compelling choice within the sport compact segment.

4.8 Overall rating
(15 reviews)This car is loads of fun to drive. The handling, the acceleration are awesome. The infotainment system works for me. I like the interface of it. The limited comes with the Nav. System and the upgraded speakers, both of which I enjoy straight away.
excellent car all around performance, good mpg, safety, AWD, great appearance as well
Car runs great, turbo really picks up nicely has great power, the premium model had great features. The controls on the steering wheel are well placed great back up camera amazing moon roof and really spacious for a sedan. A little overpriced for the minimal features you get unless you really want to go all out with the more top of the line model but great car overall.
This is a car not for the economy seeker, but for an enthusiast. It has very respectable performance, is built extremely well and retains its value unlike near all other sport sedans on the market. Plus its lines are just gorgeous ( to me, of course). Seats are meant for narrow hips so anyone above average wont be comfortable, and clutch pretty heavy so bring your NFL kicking leg for any stop and go traffic. Honda type R would probably be the closest competition in my mind, but AWD is the definite deal sealer in my mind, especially with ambitions to move north. This is a super car for its cost. Highly recommended
Great fun and practical car. Being a all wheel drive sedan. This is now my second wrx and I love it!
