Used 2017 Lincoln Continental for Sale nearBaltimore, MD

How much does the 2017 Lincoln Continental cost?

Prices have softened 1.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 162 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental a good car?

Yes — 4.69/5 is a strong user rating for the 2017 Lincoln Continental, and the expert rating is 6.5/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owner feedback consistently points to the Continental’s luxurious features, smooth ride, and spacious interior. You also see repeated praise for its stylish design and performance, which fits its role as a flagship luxury sedan. For you, that means the Continental makes the most sense if you want comfort, presence, and a premium feel more than maximum practicality. The market also shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive buys if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental reliable?

Owners rate it 4.69/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary also points to a car that feels luxurious, smooth, and spacious, with many drivers describing it as a great value compared with other luxury options. That kind of feedback usually lines up with a car that owners feel good about living with over time. The expert drive notes also emphasize that the Continental is built for relaxed, long-distance cruising, with a soft, controlled ride that stays composed at speed. Lincoln also highlights concierge service for dealer servicing and Black Label perks like restaurant reservations, which can make ownership feel more premium.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is a complex luxury sedan with expensive options, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and equipment condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lincoln Continental?

At 64.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or a long option list. Focus on condition details that matter in a luxury sedan: interior wear, electronics, ride quality, and evidence of prior bodywork. Because this model can be expensive to equip, you also want to confirm that the features you expect are actually present and working.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The top Black Label trim gets the best interior treatment, while the base cabin can feel less special in some material choices. If you care most about the Continental’s upscale atmosphere, this is where the biggest difference shows up.
• Powertrain: Three V6 engines are available: a 3.7-liter with 305 horsepower, a turbocharged 2.7-liter with 335 horsepower, and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo with 400 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional on most trims, and the twin-turbo engine comes only with all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: The Technology Package includes lane-keep assist, auto braking, pedestrian detection, automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control. There is no semi-autonomous feature that self-steers in low-speed traffic.
• Infotainment: Sync 3 is fast and intuitive, and the available 19-speaker Revel Ultima stereo is part of the tech story. The system is easy to use, but the digital instrument panel is less flexible than some rivals.
• Fuel efficiency: The available twin-turbo setup is described as robust, but the performance and cost-effectiveness commentary does not provide MPG or MPGe figures.

Which 2017 Lincoln Continental trim should I buy?

The 2017 Lincoln Continental is offered in 2 trim levels: Reserve AWD and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Reserve AWD: This is the trim that appears in the pricing discussion and serves as the more accessible path into the Continental. It gives you the core Continental experience, but the expert commentary makes clear that the car’s best interior presentation and most upscale feel are reserved for higher trims.
• Black Label: This is the best-value choice if you want the Continental at its most luxurious. The expert review says you need the top Black Label trim to get the best interior treatment, and it also notes that a Black Label trim with the rear seat package can deliver a lusher interior than the Reserve for less money, though you still do not get the driver-assist package.

The safety package is available separately, so make sure you verify whether the car you’re considering includes the Technology Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lincoln Continental?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings still deserve quick attention.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 162 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.96% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 64.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,797, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lincoln Continental's resale value?

The current average of $17,807 sits slightly below last year's $18,163.

That tells you the Continental has softened a bit in the market, which can work in your favor as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. The current pricing trend suggests the model is still adjusting in value rather than holding firm at last year’s level. For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it comes time to list the car. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still stand out more than average ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.69/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental safe?

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Continental includes optional driver assists through the Technology Package, with lane-keep assist, auto braking, pedestrian detection, automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control. It also offers optional inflatable seat belts for rear passengers. One important caveat is that there is no semi-autonomous feature that self-steers in low-speed traffic, which is a notable omission for a flagship luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2017 Lincoln Continental or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 64.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Lincoln positions this year’s Continental as a flagship return to traditional style and one of the brand’s most critical chances at success.

The bottom line: If you want the Continental’s flagship styling, luxury-first cabin, and softer pricing, the 2017 is the year to target. If you’re shopping mainly on price, you can still find value here, but you should be selective about history, equipment, and condition so you don’t overpay for a car that needs work.
