Used 2017 Lincoln Continental for Sale nearHarrisburg, PA

How much does the 2017 Lincoln Continental cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 169 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental a good car?

Yes — the 2017 Lincoln Continental earns a 4.69/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its luxurious features, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and they also like its stylish design and strong value compared with other luxury options. In use, that makes it appealing if you want a flagship sedan that feels upscale without chasing the most expensive badge in the segment.

The market also shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental reliable?

Owners rate it 4.69/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels luxurious, smooth, and spacious, with a reputation for being a strong value among luxury sedans. The expert drive notes also emphasize relaxed highway manners and controlled body motion, which supports the sense that this is a car built for calm, predictable use.

The cost-effectiveness commentary does flag expensive options and unproven resale value, so long-term ownership risk is more about buying the right example at the right price than about day-to-day livability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Lincoln Continental?

At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough inspection of bodywork, panel alignment, and signs of prior repair. Because some listings have accident history, condition matters more than usual, especially if you want to preserve the Continental’s luxury feel and resale appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The top Black Label trim gets the best interior treatment, while lesser versions can feel less special inside; the cabin materials and overall presentation are a key differentiator.
• Powertrain: Three V6 engines are available: a 305-horsepower 3.7-liter, a 335-horsepower turbocharged 2.7-liter, and a 400-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo. Front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional on all trims except the twin-turbo setup, which comes only with AWD.
• Safety package: The Technology Package includes lane-keep assist, auto braking, pedestrian detection, automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control. There is no semi-autonomous low-speed traffic self-steering feature.
• Infotainment: Sync 3 is fast and intuitive, and the available 19-speaker Revel Ultima stereo is part of the tech story. The digital instrument panel offers some reconfigurable gauge options.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2017 Lincoln Continental trim should I buy?

The 2017 Lincoln Continental is offered in 1 trim level: Continental Reserve.

Here's the short version:

The Continental Reserve is the trim to focus on if you want the Continental’s core luxury experience without overcomplicating the search. It already delivers the model’s upscale design, smooth ride, and strong available powertrain choices, and it’s the trim most directly tied to the car’s value proposition in the data. If you want the richest cabin presentation, the Black Label treatment is mentioned as the best interior environment, but the trim roster in the available data centers on Reserve.

The safety-package note is simple: the Technology Package adds the key driver-assistance features, but those systems are not standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Lincoln Continental?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and focused on condition.

• Deal availability: 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 169 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 66.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,866, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Lincoln Continental's resale value?

The current average of $17,871 sits slightly below last year's $17,973.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than sharply weakening. For you as a future seller, that means pricing discipline matters: a clean, well-kept Continental should still attract interest, but you may need to stay close to market if you want a quicker sale.

The model’s relatively steady pricing also points to predictable depreciation rather than a dramatic drop-off. If you buy well and keep the car in strong condition, you’re better positioned to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.69/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2017 Lincoln Continental safe?

The 2017 Lincoln Continental has not been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The available Technology Package includes lane-keep assist, auto braking, pedestrian detection, automatic parallel and perpendicular parking, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control. Optional inflatable seat belts are also mentioned as a rear-passenger injury-reduction feature.

A notable caveat is the lack of a semi-autonomous low-speed traffic self-steering feature, which is a meaningful omission for a flagship luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2017 Lincoln Continental or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 66.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.69/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Lincoln’s return-to-flagship positioning makes this year especially important in the Continental’s modern run.

The bottom line: If you want the Continental’s flagship styling, smooth ride, and strong owner satisfaction, the 2017 is a sensible year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, focus on the best-condition example you can find and use the market’s moderate deal availability to negotiate; if you want the newest nearby alternative, compare carefully against later-year pricing before deciding.
