Used 2017 BMW 6 Series for Sale near Maryland

How much does the 2017 BMW 6 Series cost?

Prices have softened 10.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 143 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 BMW 6 Series a good car?

Yes — the 4.9/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its stylish design, strong performance, comfort, and handling, and they often describe it as a blend of sports car and luxury. That makes it a good fit if you want a distinctive luxury car that emphasizes driving enjoyment over everyday practicality. With 37.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 BMW 6 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that feels dependable in the ways owners care about most, especially through its strong performance, comfort, and enjoyable driving character. The recurring praise for its long-term appeal comes from the way it combines style with a satisfying ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium performance car can be costly to keep in top shape, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 BMW 6 Series?

At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any listing you’re seriously considering so you can confirm accident records and ownership history. A pre-purchase inspection should be a priority, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service documentation. Focus closely on overall condition, because a luxury performance car like this can be expensive to refresh if wear and tear has been ignored.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 BMW 6 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 143 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 53.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $21,928, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 BMW 6 Series's resale value?

The current average of $22,046 sits slightly below last year's $24,573.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale a little more challenging if you buy at the wrong price. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is to buy well, keep the car in strong condition, and maintain complete service records. A well-kept example should still appeal to shoppers who want a stylish, performance-focused luxury car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 BMW 6 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market softness, the 2017 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the cheapest one.
