The 2017 Acura RDX sits at the end of the model’s second generation, and it appeals most to buyers who want a compact luxury crossover that is practical without giving up comfort. By this point, the RDX had grown into a roomier and more usable family vehicle, with plenty of space for adults in both rows and a cargo area that expands to 61.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded flat. The Technology Package also gained an eight-inch center display and a seven-inch touchscreen, though Acura noted that the two-screen setup was not very intuitive to use.

Acura says there were no significant changes for 2017 or 2018 as the brand prepared a new RDX for 2019, and the second-generation model was designed more for practicality and comfort than sportiness. Even so, its strong V6 power, comfortable ride and generous interior space make it an appealing used luxury crossover for shoppers who value substance and everyday ease.

The 2017 Acura RDX is an excellent choice for a nice suv. This particular model year has a v6 with lots of power. With tons of standard features it is a bargain and fun to drive. The only negative is that it needs premium gas for optimum performance. Great product at a reasonable price compared to its competitors.
