Why it stands out
The 2016 Toyota 4Runner stands out as a traditional body-on-frame SUV, appealing to those who prioritize rugged off-road capability over the more car-like ride of modern crossovers. Highlighted for its reliability and impressive towing capabilities, the 4Runner is celebrated for its spacious interior that accommodates families and adventurers alike. Unlike many competitors, it maintains strong resale value, making it a smart investment in the long term. The recent upgrades include enhanced cell-phone navigation and improved towing capacity, ensuring that the 4Runner remains relevant in a changing market. However, buyers should note that its performance may feel less refined on highways compared to more luxury-oriented SUVs, and some may find its price point higher than expected when considering missing modern amenities.

This is a solid vehicle. There are some minor issues that are all covered under the extended warranty except a broken taillight. The entire light assembly is 129$ and extremely easy to replace. The inside looks like its barely been used at 97k miles. Engine sounds good and the power is immediate when you touch the pedal.
