Used 2016 Ford Taurus for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2016 Ford Taurus cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 474 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Ford Taurus a good car?

Yes — 4.67/5 is a strong user rating for a used full-size sedan. The 2016 Ford Taurus stands out for offering a lot of space and a broad mix of powertrain choices in a mainstream package, and its refreshed look, updated suspension, newer Sync and MyFordTouch software, and improved front seats help it feel more modern than its basic shape might suggest. For you, that means the Taurus makes the most sense if you want a roomy sedan with comfort and value at the center of the experience. 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Ford Taurus reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2016 Ford Taurus is presented as a late-model sedan that can still make sense for shoppers who want a spacious, reliable car without paying much for it. Its broad mix of powertrain choices and updated cabin features suggest a well-rounded ownership experience rather than a highly specialized one. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a car whose condition or maintenance history does not match its otherwise practical appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Ford Taurus?

At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially on body panels, alignment, and signs of uneven wear that can point to past repairs. Focus your condition check on the overall quality of the car rather than just the odometer reading, since a used Taurus can vary a lot depending on how it was maintained and whether it has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford Taurus?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 474 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,940, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford Taurus's resale value?

The current average of $10,612 sits slightly above last year's $10,590.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price trend can support resale confidence because it signals that buyers still see value in the model year. If you keep the car in strong condition and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position to preserve value when it is time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford Taurus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want a roomy full-size sedan with stable pricing and a solid satisfaction score, the 2016 is a sensible target year to shop. You should focus on condition and history first, then compare it with nearby years only if you want to widen your search for a cleaner example or a better-priced listing. If you are especially price-sensitive, a different year may be worth considering, but the 2016 gives you a balanced mix of value and market stability.
