Used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

How much does the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan cost?

Prices have softened 6.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,224 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price and condition.

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan a good car?

Yes — the 4.64/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spaciousness, comfort, and practicality, and the Stow ’n Go seating comes up as a major advantage for families who need flexible cargo space. The overview also frames it as a value-focused minivan that prioritizes everyday usefulness over flash, which fits buyers who want easy entry and exit, adult-friendly seating, and a straightforward family hauler. With 27.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find one priced attractively.

Is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan reliable?

Owners rate it 4.64/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliability alongside spaciousness and comfort, and it also describes the van as practical enough for family use over time. At the same time, some owners mention past powertrain issues, so you should treat reliability as something to verify carefully on any used example.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear and prior mechanical issues can matter more than the model’s basic reputation, so condition and maintenance history should carry a lot of weight.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan?

At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a trusted mechanic. Focus on signs of prior body damage, uneven wear, and any evidence of drivetrain or suspension issues, since age-related problems can be more important than cosmetic condition on a used minivan. It also helps to compare multiple listings so you can separate a clean, well-kept example from one that only looks inexpensive on the surface.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,224 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 63.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $9,673, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?

The current average of $9,673 sits slightly below last year's $10,304.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can make the van easier to buy now but also means future resale gains may be limited. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is to buy a clean, well-maintained example at a fair price so you have less depreciation room left to absorb. Strong condition and documented care matter more when the broader market is already trending down.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.64/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 63.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.64/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, practicality, and owner satisfaction, the 2016 is a sensible place to focus, especially if you find a clean example with a strong history report. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the condition and equipment differences between listings.
