What Honda Odyssey do most buyers choose?

The Honda Odyssey years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices, which can make it easier to compare prices, mileage, and condition. They also tend to be the most popular used picks because you can shop a broader selection without moving far from the model’s newer features.

What is the Honda Odyssey's resale value?

Most Odyssey model years are down year over year, which is helpful if you’re shopping used because it points to softer pricing across much of the lineup. The biggest drops are concentrated in the newer years, while the older models show smaller declines. That makes the lower-priced end of the range especially attractive if you want to stretch your budget further.

The 2016, 2015, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Under its stubby hood, you’ll find a tried-and-true 3.5-liter V6 engine making 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, and according to the EPA, the 2025 Odyssey should get 22 mpg in combined driving.
• Tech: A new 7-inch digital driver display pairs with an analog speedometer, and the minivan adds a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a faster processor for quicker response to inputs.
• Safety: Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, and the Touring and Elite add front and rear parking sensors.
• Starting price: For 2025, the Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. With the departure of the base EX trim, the most affordable version of the Odyssey jumps higher in price, to $42,220 from $38,240 for last year’s EX model.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
