Why it stands out
The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox offers a spacious interior and a host of standard features that make it a competitive choice in the compact SUV market. Buyers appreciate its comfort, highlighted by features such as remote start and a backup camera, making it a practical option for families and daily commutes. However, some owners have noted that the engine could be underpowered, particularly on hills, which may be a concern for those needing robust performance. Overall, its strong safety ratings add to its appeal, giving drivers confidence during tough conditions. Despite facing some reliability issues in earlier generations, the 2016 model stands out for its combination of space, safety, and value, making it a solid option for those in the used car market.

I have only had this vehicle for a week. I’ve driven it 4 times with less than 15 miles each time, except for the 1 1/2 hour drive home from the dealership after purchasing it. I am very happy with it so far, as I have previously owned a Chevy Equinox but it was a 2011. The 2016 model has many new features which I am super excited about! The price was higher than I would have liked to pay but everything is with the way the economy is now! All in all, it’s a great vehicle, and I recommend this particular year, for it’s rated one of the better years with the least amount of complaints of expensive issues!
