How much does the 2015 Subaru Impreza cost?

There are 732 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2015 Subaru Impreza a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Subaru Impreza earns a 4/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

The data points to a compact commuter that leans into everyday usefulness rather than excitement. It brings standard all-wheel drive, a quieter cabin, better interior materials, and improved in-car technology, while still keeping the practical, all-weather character that defines the model.

The market also shows 29.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests you can still find value if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Subaru Impreza reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Impreza’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward 2.0-liter flat-4 setup, standard all-wheel drive, and the model’s emphasis on durable everyday use rather than complexity. The expert notes also point to strong value-for-money and low cost of ownership, which supports the idea that it is built to be a sensible long-term commuter.

If you buy used, the main ownership risk is finding a car that has been worn down by neglect or prior damage rather than by the model’s basic design.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Subaru Impreza?

At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows uneven panel gaps, tire wear, or interior wear that does not match the mileage. Focus on condition first, because the model’s value depends heavily on finding one that has been maintained and not just priced attractively.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup ranges from entry 2.0i to 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Limited in sedan form, with the hatchback offered in Premium and Limited trims. The Premium packages add bigger 17-inch wheels and rocker panels, while the Limited trim brings the larger 7-inch touchscreen; the base setup is simpler and less richly equipped.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 2.0-liter flat-4 with 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. The CVT is tuned for mileage, while the 5-speed manual is limited to the base and Sport Premium models and does not add much in return.
• Safety package: Subaru’s EyeSight system is standard on the 2.0i Premium trim and includes adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and pre-collision braking. The rest of the lineup gets 4-wheel antilock disc brakes plus stability and traction control.
• Infotainment: A 6.2-inch touchscreen is standard, and a 7-inch touchscreen is available in Limited trims. The system is easy to use and pairs quickly with most phones, and a rear backup camera is standard across all models.
• Fuel efficiency: With the CVT, the Impreza returns 27/36/31 mpg city/highway/combined. The standard 5-speed manual lowers those figures slightly.

Which 2015 Subaru Impreza trim should I buy?

The 2015 Subaru Impreza is offered in 5 trim levels: 2.0i, 2.0i Premium, 2.0i Limited, Premium, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0i: This is the simplest way into the Impreza, and it makes sense if you want the lowest-cost route to standard all-wheel drive, the 6.2-inch touchscreen, and the rear backup camera without paying for extras.
• 2.0i Premium: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds Subaru’s EyeSight suite with adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and pre-collision braking, making it the smartest balance of price and safety equipment.
• 2.0i Limited: Choose this if you want the more upscale cabin experience, including the available 7-inch touchscreen, and you are willing to pay more for the richer feature set.
• Premium: This trim is the hatchback-oriented step-up choice if you want the added utility of the Sport hatchback body style with more equipment than the base setup.
• Limited: This is the most feature-rich hatchback choice, best if you want the most complete Impreza package and do not mind paying for it.

The safety-package standout is EyeSight on the 2.0i Premium trim, while the rest of the lineup keeps the core braking and stability hardware.

That mild decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to move the car. Should I buy a 2015 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 56.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings a mid-cycle facelift, better interior materials, and upgraded technology inside.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $9,043, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $10,007 average.
• It offers affordable, versatile, efficient all-wheel-drive practicality.

The bottom line: If you want the better-rounded Impreza, the 2015 is the stronger pick because it improves the cabin, tech, and overall polish without losing the model’s core all-weather usefulness. If your budget is tighter and you mainly want standard all-wheel drive and practical transportation, the 2014 can still make sense as the cheaper route.
