Overview
Available from 2012 until 2015, the Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium Hatchback is an eye-catching upgrade from the base Impreza sedan, which tends to blend into a crowd. This practical compact car is known for its strong value, largely because Subaru includes a robust all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as standard equipment, while most competitors in this class charge extra for that feature—that is, if it’s even available as an option. It’s worth noting that the Sport Premium Hatchback trim carried on beyond 2015, though the “2.0i” was dropped from the name.
Key Features
- Four-cylinder engine
- Standard all-wheel drive
- Hatchback body style
- 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display
Pricing Details
In 2012, the base price of a new Subaru Impreza 2.0i Sport Premium Hatchback came in at $20,295, and by its last model year, 2015, that price had increased just $700, to $20,995. Used examples on CarGurus range from $2,498.00 to $18,144.00 with an average price of $7,752.19. There weren’t many options available for this model of Impreza, since it was already at the top of the trim hierarchy.

Reviewed a 2012 Subaru 2.0i Sport Premium Hatchback on Apr 15, 2014
Reliable. Good function and performance. Step up from 2WD economy vehicles of same class. Hatchback to cargo area with fold down seats make loading and unloading easy. Great handling on country roads and wet weather. I hope this car lasts like my other Subaru models, which have 135K to 235K miles.
