Summary
With 452 currently listed for sale and an average price of $11,440, 27.7% of 2015 Honda Fits for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Honda Fit 4.75 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Honda Fit stands out because it blends practicality with personality in a way few small cars manage. The redesigned model is still quirky and remarkably fun to drive, yet it is also better than ever in other respects. Honda’s approach gives the Fit a grown-up, more sophisticated feel without stripping away its offbeat character, which helps make it memorable in a segment where many cars can feel interchangeable.
It is also appealing because it is one of Honda’s rare subcompacts that feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive. The car’s strengths are rooted in being fun, affordable, and practical, and that combination is a big part of its appeal. Owner feedback reinforces that image, with praise for the spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. At the same time, some drivers have found the handling less enjoyable and the engine noise a bit loud, so the Fit’s charm comes with a few compromises.

Love this car. LOVE THIS CAR. Its small, but not cramped. Cargo space is amazing. So is gas mileage. Just expect to use a windshield screen--the windshield is really sloped and heats up.

I was surprised with all the accessories and features that bring the 2015 Honda Fit. The EX version I got is fully loaded with technology ahead of its time for the model. Not only the design and functionality is super well made, the interface with the multimedia and car features is great. The 6 Speed Manual Is super fun to drive and make it a hot hatch in the city.

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The owner feedback also points to a car that feels practical, economical, and easy to live with over time, while the expert review says it is expected to be very inexpensive to own and operate. The cost-effectiveness discussion adds that reliability is viewed favorably and that the car should prove nearly bulletproof in that regard. Honda’s three years and 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance also adds a helpful ownership perk.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the Fit’s basic durability and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up avoidable wear from daily use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Fit?
At 58% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of body panels, paint consistency, and signs of prior repair. Because the Fit is a small, practical car that may have seen heavy commuting or city use, condition matters as much as mileage. It is also worth checking that the cabin electronics and safety features work as expected, since those are part of the car’s everyday value.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The EX trim adds a more upscale cabin feel than the base model, and the safety content shows that LaneWatch comes standard on the EX test car. That makes the higher trim more appealing if you want more convenience and a better-equipped daily driver.
- Powertrain: The Fit uses a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower, and it is described as spirited rather than fast. The manual transmission suits the car’s playful character, while the fuel economy discussion notes 29 mpg city/37 highway and an observed 34.7 mpg in combined driving.
- Safety package: LaneWatch is the named driver-assistance feature, and it uses a right-side camera view that appears on the infotainment screen. A rear-view camera is standard, and models with HondaLink also get automatic collision notification. The safety content notes that LaneWatch only covers the right side.
- Infotainment: The EX and EX-L models use a 7-inch touchscreen with pinch-and-swipe controls. HondaLink connectivity requires a physical iPhone connection, and the system supports apps such as Pandora and Aha, plus an extra-cost navigation app.
- Fuel efficiency: The expert review cites 29 mpg city/37 highway and 32 mpg combined, while the test vehicle returned 34.7 mpg over a week.
Which 2015 Honda Fit trim should I buy?
The 2015 Honda Fit is offered in 1 trim level: Fit EX.
Here's the short version:
Fit EX: This is the trim described in the expert review, and it brings the 7-inch touchscreen, HondaLink connectivity, LaneWatch, and the more upscale equipment set that makes the Fit feel better equipped for everyday use. If you want the version that best reflects the car’s tech-forward, practical personality, this is the one to focus on.
The safety content notes that LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, but it only monitors the right side, so you should still pay close attention to visibility and driver-assistance expectations when shopping.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Fit?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.
- Deal availability: 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 471 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices are up 3.32% year-over-year.
- Clean inventory: 58.0% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $10,203, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Honda Fit's resale value?
The current average of $11,513 sits slightly above last year's $11,143.
That upward move suggests the market has been willing to pay a bit more for this model year, which is a positive sign if you plan to sell later. The Fit’s practical reputation, strong fuel economy, and value-oriented appeal help support demand among used-car shoppers. Its relatively affordable ownership profile also makes it easier for future buyers to justify.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Honda Fit safe?
The 2015 Honda Fit earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS and a top five-star protection rating from NHTSA.
It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.
The safety setup includes LaneWatch, which uses a right-side camera view, plus a standard rear-view camera with a 180-degree view behind the car. Models with HondaLink also benefit from automatic collision notification. The expert review also notes that LaneWatch is limited because it only covers the right side, so you should not treat it as a full blind-spot system.
The main caveat is the IIHS small overlap front crash test result, which is only Acceptable rather than Good.
Should I buy a 2015 Honda Fit or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 58% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices are up 3.32% year-over-year.
- Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- The redesigned 2015 Fit is described as quirky, remarkably fun to drive, and more sophisticated than before, while still feeling practical and affordable.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of practicality, personality, and ownership value, the 2015 Fit is an easy year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully for a clean, well-priced example near the low end of the range, since the market still offers some good deals.
