Used 2015 Dodge Challenger for Sale nearFort Worth, TX

How much does the 2015 Dodge Challenger cost?

Prices have softened 2.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,105 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Dodge Challenger earns a 4.9/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its impressive power, retro design, comfort, and eye-catching looks. That lines up with the Challenger’s appeal as a car that blends classic pony-car style with everyday livability, rather than chasing a pure sports-car feel. It works especially well if you want a roomy, easy-to-live-with coupe that still delivers a racy personality in higher-performance trims.

27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with praise centered on its strong performance, comfort, and retro appeal. The expert evaluation also emphasizes that the chassis and powertrains are well proven, which supports confidence in long-term ownership. The Challenger has been on sale long enough that many of the early bugs have already been worked out, which is reassuring for used buyers.

The main ownership risk is that you should still verify condition carefully, since a used performance coupe can hide wear from harder driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Dodge Challenger?

At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a close inspection of body panels, tires, brakes, and suspension wear. Because the Challenger is a larger coupe with limited visibility, condition matters a lot for both daily usability and confidence behind the wheel. Focus on how the car has been maintained, how it drives at low speeds, and whether any prior damage was repaired cleanly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Challenger is available in 7 different basic configurations, from a V6-powered SXT to the Hemi-packing R/T, SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat. The base V6 is the most accessible, while the higher trims add the more serious performance character that defines the car.
• Powertrain: V6-powered Challengers have at least 305 hp, and the SRT 392 uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 with 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. The manual transmission is a 6-speed Tremec, and the optional 8-speed automatic helps tame the car’s torque in slippery conditions.
• Safety package: The Challenger can be equipped with adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear-view camera. Some of those aids are especially helpful because visibility is limited.
• Infotainment: The cabin can include an 8.4-inch display, UConnect navigation, voice prompts, Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary inputs, UConnect Access, and Mopar Web hotspot capability. The system is easy to use and quick to learn.
• Fuel efficiency: A V6 Challenger will return up to 30 mpg highway, while the SRT 392 returned 16 mpg in mixed driving. The SRT 392 requires 91-octane fuel.

Which 2015 Dodge Challenger trim should I buy?

The 2015 Dodge Challenger is offered in 7 trim levels: SXT, R/T, SRT 392, SRT Hellcat, and the additional configurations mentioned in the model overview.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the most accessible way into the Challenger lineup, and it gives you the car’s retro style and everyday livability without pushing you into the higher-performance price range.
• R/T: This is the better-value choice if you want the Challenger’s stronger V8 character and the manual transmission that comes with the Hemi models.
• SRT 392: This is the best-value performance pick if you want the most serious driving hardware described here, including the 6.4-liter Hemi V8, adaptive dampening suspension, launch control, and performance displays.
• SRT Hellcat: This is the extreme choice for buyers who want the most exclusive and most powerful version mentioned in the lineup.

The safety tech can include blind-spot monitoring, rear-view camera, adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Challenger?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 55.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,239, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Dodge Challenger's resale value?

The current average of $21,098 sits slightly below last year's $21,701.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means resale will likely depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the car has been maintained. Higher-performance versions should remain more desirable than volume trims, especially if they are clean and well documented.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Dodge Challenger safe?

The 2015 Challenger has not been crash-tested yet, but earlier model years earned five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Challenger can be equipped with adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic high beams. Those features help offset its limited visibility and large-car dimensions. A key caveat is that the car’s size and sightlines can make low-speed maneuvering more challenging than in some rivals.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Challenger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 refresh adds updated styling and modern tech while keeping the Challenger’s retro character intact.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $23,906, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $21,098 average.
• It adds a shaker hood and new trim and wheel options.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2015 is the smarter buy because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and a refreshed look. If you’re willing to pay more for a few extra styling touches, the 2016 is the cleaner upgrade path.

How does the 2015 Dodge Challenger compare to the 2015 Ford Mustang?

Our experts score the 2015 Dodge Challenger 8.3/10 and the 2015 Ford Mustang 7.3/10.

The Challenger is the roomier, more comfort-oriented choice, while the Mustang is the lighter, cheaper-to-buy alternative. The Challenger also brings stronger expert scores and a more distinctive retro personality, but the Mustang undercuts it on average used price and offers more listings to shop. If you want the more livable coupe with stronger satisfaction, the Challenger has the edge; if you want to spend less up front, the Mustang is the easier entry point.
