Should I buy a 2015 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

Choose the 2015 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 50.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.73/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 stands out for rewarding driving dynamics and a long list of modern entertainment and safety technologies.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $14,736, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $13,651 average.
• It is positioned as a performance luxury sedan with a clearer identity and a renewed brand direction.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2015 is the smarter starting point because it combines a lower average price with strong owner satisfaction and solid safety equipment. If you’re willing to spend more for the next model year’s sharper positioning, the 2016 is the secondary path to consider.
