How much does the 2019 Acura TLX cost?

Prices have softened 5.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 697 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2019 Acura TLX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Acura TLX earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its luxury feel, strong performance, and high safety features, and many also highlight the value it offers compared with other luxury vehicles. That makes it a good fit if you want a premium sport sedan with a more engaging personality than many mainstream sedans, especially if you like the A-Spec look and feel. With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as reliable and comfortable, and the feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience for many shoppers. The recurring praise for value and comfort suggests this is a car people feel good about living with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the ownership experience and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history and solid maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Acura TLX?

At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can catch hidden damage or repair quality issues. Focus closely on body condition, panel alignment, tire wear, and signs of inconsistent maintenance, since those details matter more when a sizable portion of the market has accident history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 697 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 58.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,145, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $20,363 sits slightly below last year's $21,588.

That price movement suggests the TLX has softened, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. A clean history and strong presentation should matter more if you want to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 58.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,380, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,363 average.
• It adds a refreshed face and a sportier A-Spec package.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,043, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,363 average.
• It emphasizes driver-focused handling with SH-AWD.

The bottom line:

The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a strong mix of value, owner satisfaction, and current market availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2018 is the better budget path; if you want a more driver-focused feel and are willing to pay more, the 2020 is worth a look.
