Used 2014 Toyota Venza for Sale nearMiami, FL

How much does the 2014 Toyota Venza cost?

Prices have softened 3.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 223 listings available, which gives you a modest pool of used Venzas to compare.

Is the 2014 Toyota Venza a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Toyota Venza earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 6.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10. Owners consistently praise its reliability, spaciousness, comfortable ride, and stylish design, and the review summary also points to rich features and long-trip comfort. That lines up with the overview’s focus on a roomy, practical crossover that still feels distinctive, even if the cabin and safety tech are less modern than you might want. With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive value opportunities.

Is the 2014 Toyota Venza reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. User feedback highlights reliability, and the expert cost-effectiveness notes also describe it as a reliable vehicle with strong dependability. The expert review adds that Toyota supplies free maintenance and roadside assistance for the first two years or 25,000 miles of ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that age-related wear and prior maintenance history matter more now than when the Venza was newer.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Venza?

At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on body repairs, suspension wear, and signs of uneven tire wear. Because the Venza is a practical family crossover, you should also pay close attention to cabin condition, electronics, and how well the vehicle has been maintained over time.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE is the standard trim, while the XLE adds leather, Smart Key passive entry, navigation with voice recognition, Entune App Suite services, HD Radio, iTunes song-tagging capability, a reversing camera, a power tailgate, heated front seats, a 4-way power front passenger’s seat, and memory for the driver’s seat and mirror settings. The Limited adds a panoramic glass sunroof, a larger 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, a premium JBL audio system, front and rear parking-assist sensors, automatic HID headlights with automatic high-beam operation, LED running lights, and larger 20-inch aluminum wheels. The Limited also comes with the standard V6 engine.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine, and a more powerful 3.5-liter V6 is available in LE and XLE trims and standard on Limited. The V6 is the upgrade to choose if you want stronger passing power with only a small highway-economy penalty.
• Safety package: The Venza includes a driver’s knee airbag and blind-spot side-mirror designs. A reversing camera is optional on the LE and standard on the XLE and Limited, while the Limited also adds front and rear parking-assist sensors. The vehicle does not offer blind-spot information, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, or Safety Connect.
• Infotainment: The standard touchscreen is 6.1 inches. Smartphone pairing for music and calls is easy enough, and navigation is available, but the system can be hard to read in glare and is not infallible. The Limited gets a larger 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-wheel-drive 4-cylinder returned 25.7 mpg over more than 700 miles in expert testing and is rated at 26 mpg on the highway. The V6 is also rated at 26 mpg on the highway.

Which 2014 Toyota Venza trim should I buy?

The 2014 Toyota Venza is offered in 3 trim levels: LE, XLE, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Venza’s space and style at the lowest starting point. It is the trim to compare first if you plan to add only the options you truly need.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim because it adds the most useful everyday upgrades, including leather, Smart Key, navigation, a reversing camera, heated front seats, and power and memory conveniences. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, this is the one to target.
• Limited: This is the most fully equipped version, with the panoramic sunroof, larger touchscreen, premium JBL audio, parking-assist sensors, and standard V6 power. Choose it if you want the most features and the stronger engine from the start.

The safety package is limited overall, and the reversing camera is optional on LE but standard on XLE and Limited.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Venza?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to reward careful shopping.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 223 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 54.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $11,638, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Venza's resale value?

The current average of $11,807 sits slightly below last year's $12,207.

That softer pricing suggests the Venza is still a value-oriented used buy, but it also means future sellers should expect a market that rewards condition and equipment more than simple age. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than rougher ones, especially because shoppers are clearly price-sensitive in this segment. The current trend also suggests that buying carefully now can help protect your own resale position later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Toyota Venza safe?

The 2014 Venza earns Good ratings from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The Venza comes standard with a driver’s knee airbag and blind-spot side-mirror designs. A reversing camera is optional on the LE and standard on the XLE and Limited, and the Limited also adds front and rear parking-assist sensors. The bigger concern is that the vehicle lacks modern crash-prevention tech such as blind-spot information, lane-departure warning, forward-collision warning, and Safety Connect. IIHS also has not evaluated small-overlap frontal-impact protection for this vehicle.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Venza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.3% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2014 stands out for being roomy, comfortable, safe, and stylish, but it still lacks modern safety technologies.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $13,742, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $11,807 average.
• It adds a final-year value pitch before the model is discontinued.

The bottom line: If you want the better bargain, the 2014 is the smarter buy. If you’re willing to pay more for a newer example and don’t mind the same basic formula, the 2015 is the cleaner alternative for shoppers focused on final-year availability.

How does the 2014 Toyota Venza compare to the 2014 Nissan Rogue?

Our experts score the 2014 Toyota Venza 6.2/10 and the 2014 Nissan Rogue 6.7/10. The Venza is the roomier, more powerful-feeling choice, while the Rogue is the cheaper and more fuel-efficient option. The Venza also brings a stronger value story in used pricing, but the Rogue has far more listings and a lower average price, which may make it easier to shop. If you want a more distinctive crossover with a stronger comfort-and-style angle, the Venza fits better; if you want lower running costs and a bigger used-car pool, the Rogue has the edge.
