How much does the 2014 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 2.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,073 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2014 Toyota Sienna earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 6.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Form and function and Cost effectiveness.

It is aimed at buyers who value utility and functionality, and that focus makes it a sensible choice for families who need space and everyday usefulness more than flash. The cabin emphasis on passenger comfort, including the second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs in the Limited, is a major part of its appeal for long trips.

There are 32.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sienna’s practical design and family-focused mission support its reputation as a durable, everyday-use minivan. Expert commentary also points to favorable dependability expectations and strong long-term ownership prospects, with value and practicality as core strengths.

The model also includes free scheduled maintenance for the first 2 years or 25,000 miles of ownership, which can help reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a well-used family van may have accumulated wear from heavy daily duty, so condition matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2014 Toyota Sienna?

At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the van’s equipment and safety features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Sienna L is the most affordable starting point, while the LE adds upgraded exterior trim, dark tinted rear privacy glass, power sliding side doors, rear bumper protection, upgraded easy-clean fabric, an 8-way power driver seat, manual window sunshades for the second and third rows, triple-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, a USB port, upgraded speakers, a reversing camera, heated side mirrors, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a universal garage door opener, and an overhead console with map lights, a sunglasses holder and a conversation mirror. The XLE adds automatic headlights, a power sunroof, leather upholstery, heated front seats, Optitron gauges, woodgrain trim and power quarter vent windows. The Limited adds premium exterior and interior touches, parking sensors, Smart Key passive entry with push-button start, a premium audio system, memory settings, second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs, Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Safety Connect.
• Powertrain: Every 2014 Sienna uses a 3.5-liter V6 with 266 hp and 245 lb-ft, paired with a 6-speed automatic. Toyota also offers all-wheel drive as an option, and the V6 is described as responsive and strong for merging and everyday driving.
• Safety package: The Limited includes Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Safety Connect with Automatic Collision Notification, while Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and a Pre-Collision System appear in the available advanced technology package. The LE does not get those higher-end safety features.
• Infotainment: The Limited’s infotainment system is described as dated in screen size and resolution, but it includes a DVD player and straightforward physical controls. Bluetooth connectivity is present, though the system is described as fussy to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA estimate is 21 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle returned 19.3 mpg.

Which 2014 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2014 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: L, LE, XLE, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• L: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and do not need the added convenience and comfort features found higher up the range.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds power sliding doors, triple-zone climate control, Bluetooth, satellite radio, a USB port, upgraded speakers and a reversing camera without jumping to the pricier luxury-oriented models.
• XLE: Choose this if you want a more upscale family van, since it adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, a power sunroof, automatic headlights and additional interior refinement.
• Limited: This is the most luxurious choice, with Smart Key, a premium audio system, memory settings, second-row lounge-style captain’s chairs and the most advanced safety equipment in the lineup.

Safety-package note: the most desirable driver-assistance features are concentrated in the higher trims, so you should verify equipment carefully if you are shopping below the Limited.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Toyota Sienna?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,073 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 52.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,493, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $13,001 sits slightly below last year's $13,280.

That decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at a strong price and keep the van in clean condition, you can reduce the impact of that softer trend. Well-kept examples should still appeal to family buyers who value space and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2014 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2014 Toyota Sienna earns a three-star crash protection rating for the front-seat passenger in a frontal-impact crash from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The available safety suite includes Blind-Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Safety Connect with Automatic Collision Notification, a panoramic reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high-beam headlights, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and a Pre-Collision System. Some of the most useful safety equipment is reserved for higher trims, which means you should confirm exactly what is fitted on any used example you consider.

The main caveat is that the front-passenger frontal crash result is weaker than the rest of the van’s safety story, so you should pay close attention to trim level and equipment when shopping.

Should I buy a 2014 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 52.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Expert commentary says it is a good minivan for practical buyers who value utility and functionality.

Consider the 2015 if:

• At $15,623, the 2015 costs more than the current year's $13,001 average.
• It brings broad upgrades, especially in safety.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2014 is the smarter buy because pricing has softened and inventory is solid. If you can stretch for a newer van and want the upgrade path, the 2015 is the better choice for buyers who prioritize the latest improvements over upfront savings.
