I had a great experience at Scott Clark Toyota. Our sales person (Don Adams) was laid back and easy to talk to. He got us the deal we wanted without a hassle. The finance team got us a great APR on the car as well. It was a no-brainer. The showroom and lounge smelled nice and was clean. I am pretty sure I will buy my next car there.

The receptionist at the front desk is rude. She was having a conversation with other employees and did not even acknowledge my presence until the discussion was complete. The sales staff is friendly and the finance team was professional.

Car was not the trim level listed online and had none of the features listed as well. The front desk claimed to set up an appointment with a rep, but I was informed that he was not working that day despite being told otherwise earlier. The replacement rep was not knowledgeable about the car and was of little help.

Have not seen the car yet. I drove down to meet with the salesman and see the car but he failed to tell me that the car was in the shop for repairs. So it was a wasted trip. But I did get to speak with another sales rep (Donovan) and I will be corresponding with him from here on out.

Contacted several days later, after I had already bought the car from them. The actual sales team seemed to be very organized from selling the vehicle to doing all the paperwork and making sure the vehicle was ready to leave their lot.

I didn't buy because the vehicle was bought before I could make it to the lot. With that being said the salesman was very accommodating asking if he could meet me half way to sell it. I live 4 hours away. Not many dealershis would make that offer. If I see another vehicle they have posted I would definitely consider any vehicle they have just because thier salesman!!!!

This car was poorly prepped for sale. We opened the glove compartment and soda had been spilled inside! All 4 wheels had rust on the brake system.The sales manager tried to tell us that the rust was normal. The battery terminals had rust as well as the metal tray that holds that holds the battery, The trip to see this car was a total wastes of time!

Overall we had a good experience with Scott Clark Toyota. Ophaygoe called me almost immediately after we put in a request to be contacted. We were able to look at the car and take it for a test drive the next day. However, the car had just arrived a few days prior and they had not had a chance to complete a full detail of the car. Even without the detailing the interior was very clean with a few minor stains. It was obvious that the previous owner took really good care of it. We did decide to purchase the car. The purchase negotiation was fairly easy considering we already had a price in mind and we had already gotten pre-approved for a loan. Since we went to look at the car during our lunch break, we agreed to come back after work to complete the paperwork. We arrived at approximately 5:45pm and waited for an hour before being seen by their credit department. This was a little frustrating as we did not anticipate that we would have to wait so long to see someone, especially when we were the only one waiting in the finance area. Once we received our car, it was obvious that the car did not get a full detail as it was supposed to. I pointed out a few items that was quickly taken care of. Once I got home, I noticed a number of other items, stains in the ceiling and at the front dash area and exterior water stains. All of these were easily removed by a Clorox wipe. It was disappointing to me that although there was minimal work to do since the car was already very clean, that they did not take the time or care to detail the car prior to turning it over to us.

Upon arrival, the receptionists were very welcoming. But when the salesman, Dustin something, came out I quickly regretted my hour long drive. We went on a test drive and he sat in the passenger seat, unbuckled, and texted the whole time, telling me nothing about the truck. We get back and he wanted me to fill out a credit app before we discuss any sort of numbers. Then when I tell him that I'm not ready yet to go that far he snickers at me, stands up, shakes my hand and walks away... I wouldn't buy shoes from that kid, much less a $40,000 truck. I hate to give the WHOLE dealership a bad rating because of this but hiring appropriate personnel is fundamental in any business

If I could give this dealer a zero I would. I drove 2 1/2 hours to go to this dealer because they had the vehicle I wanted at an okay price. During the test drive the salesperson I got laughed about how he drove drunk up a one way street and got away with it - I have no idea why he thought this was appropriate in any way or conversation. Once back at the dealership there were several times we were left wondering where he had gone or when he would come back. There was a repair that needed to be made on the tailgate and at first it was not a big deal that they would deliver the vehicle to me once fixed. When I asked for a matching floor mat for the cargo area (since the one in it didn't match the others), the sales person threw his hands up and said he would ask. At this point I told him that we seemed to be a nuisance and he proceeded to tell us that every time a customer asks for something that he has to ask his manager and gets chewed out for doing so - not my problem...he chose his profession. He also tried telling me that I was getting $8000 off and that it seemed like I wasn't thrilled I was getting such a fantastic deal. I told him that I most definitely was not getting "$8000" off since the car was priced at about $1500 below market value. He said "well our sticker price..." Well, that means your sticker price is too high! At another point he also told me he was only getting $50 for this sale. They turned down my request for the matching floor mat. I signed paper work and was told I would be called Monday to update me on if the part had been ordered. I didn't get a call and when I called to get an update the sales person seemed like he didn't know why on the world i would be calling. I told him I was calling for an update and he said "well the part has been ordered." I emailed the GM to explain the bad experience I had had. It's been over a week and a half and I still haven't heard from him. I received a call from the salesperson on Wednesday saying that they had to order more parts, they weren't going to match and would need to be painted and that he didn't know an ETA. I told him I was withdrawing my offer to which he only said "okay." That was over a week ago and yesterday I got a call from someone else at the dealership saying they had the spare key for the car I bought. This place does not have it together!

Be careful. They're listing cars as certified when, in fact, all they mean is that you can purchase a warranty on them. Where I come from that's called lying.

I drove 6 hours round trip to look at an used Audi Q5. Before I decided to drive there I spoke with a salesman multiple times to discuss price and my payment limits. He was smart I give him that, he said "we will make it happen". So I get there and the car is over 2k more than we discussed, he hardly even spoke in the test drive and explained to me how they use used cars as bait to get you in the door but sell you a new car. I did not drive 6 hours to get a new car, I wanted the car I came for and it was clear he had no intention of getting me in the car I wanted. Overall I felt schemed and will never go back to their dealership.

Great for the most part, they did work hard to try to get me into the Sonata,and I was ready to close the deal, only two problems,1. not enough for my trade, and 2. payment was a little bit too high, other than that it was a great experience .thanks for trying, Toyota

Dealer did contact me but it was about another vehicle I have inquired about. I am not satisfied with my overall experience, I was in a negative equity situation. However, after I looked online at what my vehicle was being sold at I felt cheated. They are selling my car for $6000 over what they paid me for the car. The salesmen are pushy and can at time be rude! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone!

This was the pretty typical dealership experience, as in not great but also not awful. I called in the morning about a certain car, and it was sold during the day. They did call me back before I came in, but didn't leave a voicemail so I didn't know it was sold and still went to the dealership. The salesperson wasn't super pushy, but when we made it clear we weren't buying a car that day (it was a Friday night, first time actually looking at cars) he laid the guilt on thick which I didn't appreciate. It didn't make me feel bad, but his demeanor changed immediately and he started saying things like 'Oh I need you to talk to my manager so I don't get in trouble', and after waiting for 20 minutes his manager never came over so we waited there for nothing. It wasn't an awful experience, but I left feeling weird and didn't go back the next day.

Purchased this 2016pearl Avalon hybrid limited on a Monday for my girlfriend and returned Sunday to purchase a 2016 navy blue Avalon hybrid limited for myself. All went well from the time we entered the front door until drive away. However, the only glitch came upon closer examination of both interiors. We found dirty seat belts and marks on ceilings that we ended up cleaning ourselves (we live 2.5 hours from Matthews). I also found a small chip in my front window but was assured it would not cost me to get repaired. The Scott Clark re-conditioning department needs to step it up!

Great experience! They were super friendly, fair, and accommodating. And of all the places we went, they were the cleanest and most "equipped" (children's areas, food, tvs, sitting areas, wifi). They worked with us on price and also offered a great warranty that made it worth it to buy. Would go here again in a heartbeat.

Salesman was nice and friendly. Sales manager was a con man. Lied right to my face. He twisted everything around and all data I had he also twisted to his benefit. Even his salesman appeared embarrassed. When I had enough, I got up and began walking towards door. He followed me out to the parking lot still spilling his lies. His salesman apologized to us.

Experience was fine until time to sign the paperwork. I have never been pushed that hard to purchase an extended warranty. It was horrible and the guy was unforgivable rude and very mean when I wouldn't sign for it.

Great experience up to purchase of 2015 4Runner. After that, communications were much less than expected. I had some things that came up that needed attention from dealership and had to call several times on multiple occasions with no follow up from dealership. Felt like all they were concerned with was the sale. They did get everything worked out in the end for the most part but I would not recommend them in the future.

Salesman was attentive and nice. After hours of talking, the sales manager wouldn't disclose the "out the door" price of the car. I tried to find out for two days. I nor my friends that had purchase a Toyota Tundra from them previously will not attempt to do business with them again. Waste of my time and energy and my friends time and energy.

Customer service was poor. They were there to sell a vehicle. It would have been nice to be offered a cup of coffee or water while waiting 1.5 hours to complete the transaction. I expect more from a Toyota dealership.

The car I was interested in with this particular dealership was well priced, but they were pretty bad about communication. A salesperson called once while I was in the middle of a phone call and left a message, and even though I called back 5 minutes later and twice more over the next two days and left multiple messages, no one called back. Fast forward to nearly 1.5-2 weeks later, someone finally calls me too late because I was actually signing the documents for my new car right when the call came in. I bought the EXACT SAME CAR that Scott Clark Toyota's people were selling, but they missed out on selling theirs to me so I went a few more states away and bought from someone who was willing to call me back.

Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. Easy to work with and the vehicle was clean. I bought the vehicle from them. The only thing I didn't like was they were in such a hurry to put my trade in on the internet that they took pictures and posted on the internet before I removed my belongs and even had my license plate visible. The pictures were replaced after a few days, but I thought they could have waited till my stuff was out of the car.

HORRIBLE! EVEN MANAGER LIED TO MY FACE! Made an appointment on a Friday afternoon to see a car on Saturday morning. Salesman called me at 8:58am on Saturday and asked if I was still coming, I replied that I was 10 minutes away. When I arrived he walked me around the lot (with a 2 year old in tow) but couldn't find the car I was interested in. Took me back inside while he located the car. after 20 minutes the manager asked if we were ok, I replied "No not at all". I told him what happened and he said he would look into it. He then replied that the car was just turned in so it was probably getting work done. Right, it's been for sale on their lot for almost 4 weeks! LIAR! After 5 more minutes, the manager walked outside and started joking with other salesmen. The original salesman never came back, we left. Very disappointed. Not even sure that car was ever on the lot. IF YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE A SPECIFIC CAR, THAT CAR SHOULD BE READY TO TEST DRIVE WHEN THE CUSTOMER ARRIVES.
