You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage. What is the 2014 BMW 6 Series's resale value?

The current average of $15,578 sits slightly below last year's $16,298.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained. If you keep the car clean and documented, you’ll be in a better position to stand out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 BMW 6 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 54.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.42% compared with last year.

The bottom line: Buy the 2014 if you want the strongest mix of current value, owner satisfaction, and broad availability in this price range. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2014 already gives you a softer market and a solid pool of listings to shop from.
