This was my girl-friends car. It was in excellent condition, was well maintained and had a great design. It got great gas mileage, and we did alot of comfortable travel in it. It was a relatively compact car, but there was enough room to not be able to say I was riding in a lunch box.

Very Reliable. Made at NUMMI plant in California with joint venture from General Motors and Toyota. Last year this was made was 2002. I wish I could buy another one. Now the NUMMI plant only makes the Pontiac Vibe. Ok.

It is a stick and that makes all the difference. Very spirited any not at all sluggish like the automatics. Gas mileage is spectacular. I have never gotten less than 33 mpg on a tank and regularly get 36 or 37 and once in a while 39. This on mixed driving. The car has 190,000 miles on the original clutch and shows no sign of getting tired. I will get 300k from this engineering marvel. All features continue to function perfectly.
