Overview

The 1992 Ford Bronco retained its appeal to drivers looking for a rugged two-door off-road utility vehicle. Even though the SUV market had not yet taken off, there were plenty of buyers out there looking for the sturdiness, cargo capacity, and roomy interiors of the workhorse Bronco.
A redesign wasn't targeted so much at the aesthetics of the '92 Bronco as at its safety features. Front crumple zones were a key element of the updated front end, and shoulder belts were added for the passenger seats.
By the standards of the later '90s, the entry-level Bronco XLT's cabin was pretty basic, but remember there's a reason why they called them 'utility vehicles'. The Eddie Bauer and Custom trims offered more frills on the interior; the Eddie Bauer also came standard with the 5.8 liter V-8 that was optional on the other trims.

All mine really needs is a little body work, a small block motor , and a lift and tire set up to be perfect. Its a big solid hunk of metal, so i feel better about possibly getting in an accident

I love my Bronco all around. It may be a gas guzzler, but its a beast. It works great for in-city driving, but is nearly unmatched at classic country fun (i.e. hunting, fishing, mudding, mud-bogging, etc.). God bless America, God bless the Bronco.

Original Post: So it was a gas hog but it got the job done!About 14 mpg. Snow storms quivered at this ride (as long as you had sand bags in the back to keep from fishtailing) I had 180k miles on it and only needed to replace the alternator and some spark plugs. My only issue was when we went four wheeling two days after buying this truck and having the dash fall on us. We learned the hard way that it was not the original. Custom means no extras! No center council, no cup holders, exposed metal roof, the hotter the day the more creaks it makes. Makes for fun times when taking turns with friends. Yes they fall off the front passenger seat when you take a turn to fast, but it's hysterical! On hot days after being parked in the school parking lot all day with the music blasting as loud as possibly, you still couldn't hear the music because of the creaks of the car due to the heat. NEW POST: So I have since sold my beloved truck to a neighbor whose son needs a reliable car that is cheap on insurance. He is still driving it and has over $200k miles on the engine. Nothing major has gone wrong with it that I'm aware of and I miss it. I sold it for $800 and miss my truck more than I miss the money.

I have always liked the Ford Bronco this is my second one and I wish I could find a very nice 1996 which was the last year it was made.... Ford made a concept but it never was reintroduced. Still to today I think they should have continued the line. I have seen a 2015 based on the F150 Raptor but Mouths are SHUT and Lips are tight as to its release but it sure looked awesome after 9 Years....
