Performance is very unimpressive, but it is a tough, sturdy truck. I could easily haul a 1000 lb payload with decent performance, and it tackled winter roads with ease. It also had a sturdy frame that made for ideal off-roading and hauling. It looks fantastic, gets decent mileage, and it's a very fun truck to drive. Heads turn when you drive this rare truck, as only a few survive. It has a tendency to rust and the interior is cheap and plastic, but that is common for most 1980s cars. It isn't a particularly comfortable truck, with a rough ride and smallish interior, but it is a great workhorse.

It accelerate slow, brake fast and handled ok. it was built strong you could roll it then flip it back and drive away without knowing it rolled. it was the funnest thing to drive. it got very good gas mileage and was easy to repair.

The truck was my Dad's "winter" vehicle when he had a 1976 Pontiac Firebird. I think the truck only had like 92hp, but it could go anywhere. It really was the Timex add, Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. I'm sure it's still running where ever it is today.
