The car I reserved was sold as soon as I got to their place and I was half hour early on my appointment.

They don’t deserve a single star. Sold me a car that was unsafe to drive. Took to another dealership for inspection after notifying South Bay Lexus that the car was leaking puddles of oil and was not shifting without jerking, they said to bring it in to have a look. I didn't feel safe driving it, took it to independent mechanic was told give it back, took it to another dealership for inspection, found cracked dog bone engine mount, blown head gaskets, strut issues, and unknown transmission issues, I didn't want to pay an additional 200 for further diagnostics. South Bay Lexus in Torrance agreed to reverse the deal but have yet to return my down payment or cancel my loan, with the first payment already posted. I am paying for a car I do not have that I left as instructed by South Bay with Carlsbad Lexus where the inspections were done after purchasing. I had to take a train and lyft rides to sign paperwork over 80 miles away to retrieve the car I traded. Shady, dishonest? *carfax

I bought the car and felt good about the process

The saleslady (Pheresa) did not show us the car. After the test drive she asked if we wanted to buy it. She was not familiar with any warrantees. She said the hybrid battery warranty was covered for life, never said we had 2 pay $995 extra. She said the dealer had a promo for Memorial day (no pmt for 90 days). Finance offered a 9.99% int rate; with my FICO score of 855, I declined. They came back with 6.84%. I was was told promo for Memorial day was denied bc of low int rate. I asked her to use my curr address in Ventura County instead she used my old address shown on my DL in LA causing me to pay more taxes on the purchase price. Ventura County tax is less. I asked to hv the calculated tax fixed overcharged $280. The price of the car was a bit higher than listed on CarGurus and I asked her to match the listed online price. She was not too happy. I am not satified with their lies and poor cust serv. Finance Hacob said he could not offer the 90 day no pmt due to lower rate offered.
